Term 4 Goals- Saturday Cricket

My goal is to captain my Saturday cricket team so they will not drop more than two games.

I will achieve this goal by paying extra attention to field positions and players strengths and weaknesses.

I will know I have achieved this goal when my team are happy with there season and proud not to have lost many games.

Term 4 Goals- Athletics

My goal is to get to the zones for at least one athletics sport so I can go off and represent the school for sport.

I will achieve this by practising my sprints and long jump as well as throughing in the weekend at home and with my friends.

I will know I have achieved this when I have had a successful night at the last school eliminations. Then I will be of to represent the school.

Term 4 Goals- Leavers Newsletter

My goal is to complete the Leavers newsletter as a gift for the people leaving, this will be hard because there are only a small amount of writers in our team and only little time to complete it.

I will achieve this goal by managing my time and not committing to many other time using responsibilities and keep good times free so I can produce quality work.

I will no I have achieved this when the newsletters are handed out and people are reading and commenting on them.

Term 3 Speech Evaluation

Speech Evaluation

I have spent about a mid effort on speeches in the past but this year decided to try a bit harder and put in the extra effort and in the end it payed off, I did not get through but I believe I caught the attention of my audience. I used a stronger range of words aimed at getting the message across and sustaining it after the speech ended

Some mistakes were the lack of facial expression and range of voice volumes and expression in my voice. I think with my topic I could have involved some more humour to further catch the audiences attention.

In the future I will leave some more time because I was left with only one night and morning to practise and remember part of the speech.

Daniel C's Reflection 6.8.07

Today I learnt that with plan old junk resoures you can make a creation involving more imagination than other clothing. I saw some dresses and clothes involving lots of creativity.

This learning will help when our groups are planning and creating our "works of art" for wearable arts. I think this skill brings out lots of peoples imagination.

The next steps in my learning is to use all of these great skills and inspirations to create a peice to share at the wearable arts show and get lots of great comments in return.
